Leskovar Honda

Anton Leskovar served as the Butte Willys dealer from 1937 to 1942, specializing in the franchise known for its civilian Jeeps and the Americar. With the onset of World War II in 1942, car production ceased, leading to the continuation of business through Central Auto Service—a paint shop that later evolved into a comprehensive body shop—located at 39 E. Galena, above Wellman Motors Dodge dealership. In 1957, Ted Wellman sold the building to the Leskovars upon his retirement. The Edsel franchise was subsequently added, and in 1958, the luxury Lincoln Mercury franchise joined the dealership. Ted Leskovar, Joe's younger brother, later joined as a partner. Operations expanded in 1968 with the opening of a dealership in Kennewick, Washington, and the Honda franchise was introduced in 1975, establishing Leskovar Motors as Montana's oldest Honda dealer. In 1985, Leskovar Motors relocated to its present site at 3766 Harrison Avenue. Spanning four generations, the Leskovar family has upheld the business's founding principles. Today, we continue to conduct business with the same values instilled over 60 years ago.
