Spotlighting the upcoming occasion, we are thrilled to present Uptown Hoops, our annual outdoor 3 on 3 basketball tournament scheduled for June 21st-23rd at the carefully selected Original Mine Yard. Following two successful years, where we hosted over 100 teams and nearly 400 participants, with a crowd ranging from 1000-1500 people, we are eager to continue this growth for the benefit of the Butte community.

Our objective is to expand the tournament each year, drawing participants from communities beyond Butte. Seeking approval for our 2024 event, we aim to make it even more spectacular. The Original Mine Yard, chosen for its logistical advantages, offers multiple courts accommodating 16 teams each, with a total capacity of 208 teams and 640-832 participants.

Anticipating a considerable turnout of spectators, we have planned competitive matchups and sponsored contests across various divisions, from Elementary to Adult, on the 'Main Court.' Vendors, food trucks, live music, and exhibits will be strategically centralized for convenient access, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Large dumpsters will be placed at both ends of the event boundaries for continuous waste removal, and we are seeking access to BSB bathrooms at the chosen location.
