Uptown Hoops depends on reliable volunteers before, during, and after tournament weekend. Volunteers help with planning, setup, court operations, registration, cleanup, and the small details that make the event run well.
Help Build the Event
Whether you can help in advance, during setup, throughout tournament weekend, or during cleanup, your time makes a difference. Uptown Hoops is built by people who show up, take ownership, and help create a strong event for the Butte community.
Event Planning
Help with preparation, communication, organization, sponsor follow-up, logistics, and general planning before tournament weekend.
Setup & Takedown
Assist with court setup, equipment movement, signage, tables, chairs, barricades, cleanup, and takedown after the event.
Day-of Support
Help with team check-in, information tables, runner tasks, volunteer coordination, supplies, and general event operations.
Court Monitors
Court monitors help keep games on schedule, track time, support game flow, communicate rules, and help resolve questions during play. Basketball knowledge is helpful, but reliability and good judgment matter most.

Cleanup Crew
Cleanup is one of the most important parts of the event. Volunteers help keep the Original Mine Yard, surrounding areas, and tournament space clean, organized, and respectful to the community.
