Help Build Something Sustainable
The goal is to keep improving Uptown Hoops while building a stronger team around the event. We need people who bring real value, communicate well, follow through, and care about creating a high-quality community event in Butte.
Head of Officiating
Recruit and organize court monitors, help communicate game rules, support game flow, and create consistency across courts during tournament weekend.
Communications Coordinator
Help manage team communication, public updates, event messaging, email follow-up, sponsor communication, and tournament weekend information flow.
Secretary / Organization Support
Support meeting notes, planning timelines, sponsor tracking, volunteer lists, task follow-up, documentation, and general organization.
Sponsor & Community Outreach
Help connect with local businesses, sponsors, vendors, community partners, and supporters who want to be part of the event.

Support the practical side of the tournament, including setup planning, equipment needs, court layout, supplies, signage, vendor placement, and event flow.

Who We’re Looking For
- People with leadership, basketball, operations, marketing, communication, or event-planning experience
- People who are organized, dependable, and willing to follow through
